Much to our dismay new leak in our T@B Trailer has been discovered. Here's the story.....
Since the last repairs we'd been getting quite a bit of enjoyment out of our T@B. We most recently took her to Ft. Clinch State Park and also were renting her out over the holidays to photographers to use as the backdrop in Christmas photos.
How the leak was discovered
This was when I found the issue. A photographer asked for pics of the inside and I noticed discoloration in the linoleum in front of the AC unit. You can faintly see it here:
What we've found:
I ripped out the linoleum and then decided to rip out the linoleum under the sink as well to get to the bottom of where the leak is. This led to ripping it out in the closet. Still no luck. We finally said we needed to remove the AC unit. It is completely rotted.
We ripped out as much of the rot as we could:
What we plan to do next:
Dry it out and then....I'm not sure. We'll keep you posted.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your T@b damage. Have you had her repaired? I think it’s so cool that you take your daughter camping. What a fun way to learn and the adventures she’s have.I have a T@b also and I love it. I call her Ms. Lucille (after my mom). She’s a 2007 T@b and have had her for about 3 years. I’ve dolled her up inside and out and can’t wait for warmer weather to pull her out of the barn and hit the road. Blessings on your adventures.
